Dr Liriano is very pleasant, and very easy to talk to. Just simply a very nice person.
Very knowledge and patient
The world needs more doctors like her
The front office team is very calm and friendly. The doctor was kind knowledgeable and very patient with me . The downside is that I had to spend almost an hour trying to confirm whether my insurance is acceptable at the facility I wish this had been verified before I physically got to the clinic. For that reason my appointment was delayed.
I went for my annual pap smear and mentioned to the gynecologist that I was concerned about my menstrual cycle changing. It used to last 4 days, and now it lasts up to 7 days. I explained that I am a patient who had a kidney transplant 2 years ago and that I take some medications. I also told her that my previous pap smear came back fine and that I had even had a vaginal ultrasound, and I brought my reports. Then she asked if I wanted to have a biopsy, which surprised me. Biopsies are not done unless something is found in a previous test. I then asked how I could know if I was starting menopause or perimenopause, and she suggested a hormonal test, which I agreed to. After that, I was taken to another room where a blood test was done, and the nurse told me it would be a complete blood count and that if I wanted, I could show it to my doctor. It felt like she did a full physical exam, and I didn't know that a gynecologist also performed general checkups. I explained to the nurse that due to my condition, having had a kidney transplant, I get blood tests very frequently and only needed the hormonal test to know if I was in menopause or perimenopause. I wasn't very satisfied with the service at the place.
